The Initial Game Proposal

Along with the universe concept an entire game proposal was submitted. Though I never played it, after a thorough review it seemed a solid system. However, from the Catalyst perspective, it seemed a dated system. One that harkened back to a time when detailed record sheets and detailed rules were the name of the game.

However, as I previously noted that simply wasn’t a direction that we felt was appropriate for a game Catalyst would publish. There has been interest in seeing what that original game concept looked like. As such, with the gracious permission of the original designer, here’s that original pitch.
