CC Releasing British Ship & Recognition Cards

First, apologies…didn’t realize almost a month had slipped by since my last post here…sheesh, 2013 is already flying by.

Next week I’ve got a great German Art Development blog post ready to start revealing the ultimate direction those ships will go…and we also might be making an open solicitation for scenarios from you guys, for inclusion in a cool future PDF…so stay tuned.

In the mean time, as with the Gazetteer we released at the end of the year, we’re continuing to embrace the Creative Commons nature of Leviathans by releasing printable PDFs of every British Ship Card and Recognition Card found in the Core Box and British Fleet Box.

Grab the zip file here (you can also find it on the downloads page).

It will release the French ships in the same fashion in the very near future.

See ya next duty shift!

Very nice, thanks for the ship cards! This was mentioned in the forums once, but for future releases any chance the pdf files could include printer/color-blind friendly versions of the ship cards as well?

Let me see what I can do: I’ll post a sample on the forum when ready.

Very nice idea. A question, these are the ship cards already available in the main box set and the British set right? Most of should already have those, so wouldn’t it be ideal to create new ship cards for new ships instead? It gets people to buy the two sets already out and new ship cards let people use already existing models to represent new ships.

Oh, and as always. Where is my American fleet? ;)

I like printable ship cards, means I don’t have to mark up the ones from my boxed sets or risk them getting damaged. also a couple of the folks I game with had a touch of difficulty reading the ship cards due to poor eyesight even with their specs on, being able to print A4 ship “Cards” has bean a godsend.

Thanks to the Dev’s.

Wantec: Unfortunately that’s a whole other level of work we’d have to do and Matt is beyond slammed with other work. Once we get through the launch of Shadowrun Fifth Edition and into the fall, we can look at that again.

Stormlion1: We are looking at releasing some brand new PDFs of new material…but…um…Americans…yeah, a ways out… ;-)
